When you read that question, does it make you feel left out?
Well, it shouldn’t. When I read that question, I automatically put this question in my mind = “Yeah, why NOT me?” Why wouldn’t you pick me? Confidence is something that is very attractive in both men and women. Not cockiness, confidence. There is a major difference. You should be able to distinguish the two apart.
Whether you’re at work or at a social gathering such as a party, a bar or even just walking down the sidewalk, you can always ask yourelf – “Why not me?”
If you see something you want – a promotion, a girl, or guy – “Why NOT me?” Why wouldn’t they want you? There should be no reason why they shouldn’t. Affirm that to yourself. You are you and you should be happy with yourself.
One thing I’ve always told myself is – “The worst they can do is say ‘no’”. Big deal right? No. I’ve heard no so many times in my life that it doesn’t bother me anymore. Knowing that I’ve heard the word ‘No’ so many times doesn’t bother me one bit. You know why? Because in hearing that word, it shows that I’ve taken that leap, I’ve taken the risk at all costs just because I was presented with the opportunity. And because I’ve taken the opportunities, I’ve also heard A LOT of the very opposite word; Yes.
Remember, whether it be a job or a hot person you’ve been scoping out there is always more where that came from and all they can do is say no.
Take risks, push forward and be confident.
